If  you’ve ever had a loved one in the hospital for an extended period of time, you may know how uncomfortable sleeping in a chair in the room, or on a couch in the waiting room can be! Ronald McDonald House provides comfortable accommodations close to the hospital, with two meals provided each day, while only asking for a nominal fee of $15 per day for entire families to stay there. Families will not be turned away if they are unable to pay (which is why it is a great idea to donate to this charity). My family stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Minneapolis for about three weeks, and it was such a blessing.

I would have to say some of the best years of my life were spent there, and the lifelong friendships I made during those four years were worth every penny (my parents) spent! Located near the lovely, lakeside town of Waconia, just thirty minutes from Minneapolis/St. Paul, you can't beat the location.
